The Bus is Coming!

The Bus is Coming! is a transport seminar on local transport initiatives – particularly the Lingaun Loop, which operated on the Kilkenny-Tipperary border during summer 2025.
This was an action-research project, recording passenger numbers, destinations, reasons for travel and more. The results will be presented to the seminar, along with presentations from other rural transport projects and an update on the European Rural Mobility Network.
Rural Transport Minister Jerry Buttimer will address the seminar, followed by a round-table discussion for participants.
