Newcomers to Kilkenny turned out in force for a Meet-and-Greet event organised by our Social Inclusion & Community Activation (SICAP) team.
The event, which took place in the Friary Hall in Kilkenny, was packed with information and guidance from agencies providing healthcare, training, wellbeing opportunities, security, budgeting services and much more. They all had stands at the event where migrants could have conversations about the challenges they’re facing and the opportunities they are seeking.
International refreshments were provided and among those who came along were Global Dance Club KK, which closed the event with an Angloan dance class.
