KLP funded a unique experience for four transition year students from Duiske College, Graiguenemanagh. Sean Delaney; Sean Bolger & Ann Walsh and Jade Fenlon got first-hand experience in the world of media in a Multi-media/ Community radio course in Kilkenny Community Radio studios. During this course, they were given an introduction in presenting, producing and editing a radio show.
They now hope to be part of a larger network of budding presenters and producers in the area and currently seeking a temporary broadcast licence for their own station (Barrow Valley Community Radio) in 2014.
