Back to Work Scheme
SIACP works with individuals who have an interest in starting their own small business / Start up. The Back to Work Enterprise Allowance (BTWEA) Scheme support individuals who are in receipt of a social welfare payments to start their own business and become self employed.
Participants of the BTWEA scheme can keep a percentage of their social welfare payment for up to 2 years. The SICAP team also assist individuals applying for the Short Term Enterprise Allowance, which supports people who have lost their job and receiving Jobseeker’s Benefit to start their own business.
