Kilkenny is participating in an EU project SMARTA (lighthouse case study site), its role is to research, identify and pilot “smart transport services” in rural areas. They aim to understand the market and framework in every European Country and to assess how sustainable, on-demand mobility solutions can help enhance the travel experience of diverse rural populations. As part of this work, SMARTA wish to undertake a survey of people in Kilkenny.
